Small Steps, Great Impact
Dedicating a small but consistent amount of time to daily Torah study can have astounding results.
Although 5 to 10 minutes a day can seem short and insignificant when faced with the vastness of Torah, with time it will add up to entire books and sections of Torah knowledge.
In fact, the Medrash compares these small efforts to a child who is conscientious and saves his small allowance day by day. When he looks at the total after years of saving he'll have a large sum.
This is why there is a repeated verb, implying consistency and continuity when referring to Torah study. If you keep at it, and add bit by bit every day you'll come to understand all the commandments.
"For if you carefully safeguard (your learning- Rashi)... all these commandments." Deuteronomy 11:22
