Getting the Message Across
Telling someone they've done something wrong directly frequently is not the best way to communicate your message. A more round-a-bout method is often more effective. One idea that works effectively is finding a way to help the other person realize they were wrong on their own.
Rivka, who had the utmost respect for her husband Yitzchok, didn't want to tell Yitzchok that his plan to bless Esav was wrong (and that Yaakov deserved that blessing). This is even after G-d Himself had told Rivka that Yaakov was deserving of being the leader of the family.
Rather Rifka designed an elaborate trick that would help Yitzchok realize on his own that going forward from that point on the blessing would indeed begin going to Yaakov.
"Indeed, he (Yaakov) will be blessed." Genesis 27:33
